本文主要介绍了在线废旧家电回收系统的各项基本功能的设计和实现。本系统主要面向预约者和系统管理员2种用户，是一种具有交互功能的废旧家电回收系统，用于实现在互联网上的回收预约，各个用户在网上添加预约回收信息，废品回收公司根据用户的资料进行回收。
本系统使用C#为编程语言，采用ASP.NET编程技术来开发，使用SQL Server 2000来管理整个系统的后台数据，开发了运行与Windows XP操作系统下的废旧家电回收系统。本篇论文论述了网站的开发环境和ASP.NET技术、ADO.NET技术等主要技术，以及系统的详细设计。
本系统的开发主要包括后台数据库的建立和维护以及前台应用程序的开发两方面。对于前者，系统建立起了数据一致性和完整性强及数据安全性好的数据库。对于后者，系统则具备程序功能完备，使用容易等特点。
