如果你在（口对口，者口对鼻的）人工呼吸过程中遇到阻力或者对抗，并且患者的胸部没有随着你的吹起而起伏，这说明患者气道可能仍然有阻塞。
此时要将患者的头部更加后仰（使气道尽量成为一条直线），并且抬高患者下巴（防止舌根后缀阻塞气道，同时使喉部更加开放以利减少吹气时阻力）。
